Spring is in the Air!

-
As all of the Winter sports have come to an end, the fresh air of Spring is surrounding! With that being said, let's wrap this week up on a high note for Spring Break starting on Friday. 💮

Most of you have realized already, however why not say it again? - your Los Lobos marketing team are CMU Chippewas. As Chippewas, we have to give a shout out to our Women's Basketball team, who just made it to the NCAA's March Madness 2018 Tournament - Sweet 16! Tune in on Saturday to support fellow Mt. Pleasant citizens! Let's see who gets the dub as CMU plays Oregon for the Elite Eight spot.

The women's team for both our Chippewas and your Irish have had amazing seasons, thus far. Coming in hot, as they advance through the brackets! None the less, so proud to say I've had the opportunity to work with both teams and I'm positive knowing that everyone around us agrees with that statement. WE ARE SO PROUD!

Congratulations on an amazing season, Girl's Basketball team!

Dan Haggart Basketball has been the focus of the blog the past couple of weeks so today we are going to switch gears and get to know the SHA Athletic Director! With his new education and a little experience under his belt, he returned to Clare as their new Athletic Director in 2013 before taking the position here at SHA.  Dan Haggart is a great asset to the SHA family! Courtesy of breakingfourth.com With all of the success the Sacred Heart Irish are experiencing on the hardwood, it's hard to imagine that any Sacred Heart Program can compare in terms of skill or success. But at Sacred Heart, high personal, academic, and athletic standards are not reserved for an exceptional few, they are standards that are upheld day in and day out by many. Nowhere is this dedication to excellence more evident than the Sacred Heart Irish Track & Field Teams. Both squads are coming off of campaigns that wrought Division 4 State Championships. Some may call it, "The Luck of the Irish," but with all of the wins Sacred Heart is racking up on the hardwood and track (just to name two high achieving programs) one cannot help but think that these Irish win their competitions the old-fashioned way. Hard work, dedication, discipline, perseverance, grit. As the Lady Irish are reminiscent of Michael Jordan and his Bulls, the Irish Track-stars can also...

Picture Credits  The Lady Irish have been a hot topic on our blog, but who isn’t talking about them? Some may ask if it truly is, ‘The Luck of the Irish,” but we all know that it is the hard work of this team that has them sitting at a 19-0 record. Last night the Irish played at Beaverton. They brought home the win with the score of 57-43 . Beaverton was a non-conference game. Now, the next question is who has to face this stellar, hot streak team? Breckenridge will be headed to Mt. Pleasant tomorrow for a game time starting at 7:30pm. ALERT … HOME GAME … TOMORROW!! This win streak will hopefully hold up to the Breckenridge Huskies who are coming into the game with a 4-14 record. The Huskies will be looking to cause trouble for our Lady Irish, so come out and support your team! Nothing better to do on a Thursday night then watch some basketball at home! Don’t miss the action and as always, keep us updated on your experiences, thoughts, and comments! ...
