Boys basketball continues to impress!

-
Sacred Heart has a knack for winning when it comes to their basketball program this season! The girls team is still the talk of their conference with their amazing 24-0 record. the boys team has been on a tear though with a 7 game win streak according to maxpreps. The boys haven't been blowing out teams by 30 plus points like the girls, but a win is a win and it shows that the boys can win under pressure. This is a very special moment for the Sacred Heart program having such dominate basketball presense in the state of Michigan!
The boys team had their District Semi-Finals this past Wednesday the 7th versus Baldwin. Yes, their wining trend continued with a great 65-56 victory leading them to the District Finals! Their  next game is being held today at 7 in Big Rapids, Michigan. Their opponent, the Crossroads Charter Academy who has struggled for the most part this season with a 7-14 record according to maxpreps. This isn't the District Finals game, but this should be a great chance to keep the boys hot and hitting their shots. come show your support tonight and as always Go Irish!

Courtesy of breakingfourth.com With all of the success the Sacred Heart Irish are experiencing on the hardwood, it's hard to imagine that any Sacred Heart Program can compare in terms of skill or success. But at Sacred Heart, high personal, academic, and athletic standards are not reserved for an exceptional few, they are standards that are upheld day in and day out by many. Nowhere is this dedication to excellence more evident than the Sacred Heart Irish Track & Field Teams. Both squads are coming off of campaigns that wrought Division 4 State Championships. Some may call it, "The Luck of the Irish," but with all of the wins Sacred Heart is racking up on the hardwood and track (just to name two high achieving programs) one cannot help but think that these Irish win their competitions the old-fashioned way. Hard work, dedication, discipline, perseverance, grit. As the Lady Irish are reminiscent of Michael Jordan and his Bulls, the Irish Track-stars can also...

Picture Credits  The Lady Irish have been a hot topic on our blog, but who isn’t talking about them? Some may ask if it truly is, ‘The Luck of the Irish,” but we all know that it is the hard work of this team that has them sitting at a 19-0 record. Last night the Irish played at Beaverton. They brought home the win with the score of 57-43 . Beaverton was a non-conference game. Now, the next question is who has to face this stellar, hot streak team? Breckenridge will be headed to Mt. Pleasant tomorrow for a game time starting at 7:30pm. ALERT … HOME GAME … TOMORROW!! This win streak will hopefully hold up to the Breckenridge Huskies who are coming into the game with a 4-14 record. The Huskies will be looking to cause trouble for our Lady Irish, so come out and support your team! Nothing better to do on a Thursday night then watch some basketball at home! Don’t miss the action and as always, keep us updated on your experiences, thoughts, and comments! ...
